NATIONALS
There are a number of National tournaments, the dates for which are listed below.

The Touch New Zealand National Championships is held in Feb/Mar every year, and caters for Youth teams (U19 & U21 Mens, Womens, Mixed), Open teams (Mens, Womens, Mixed) and Master teams (Over 30 & Over 35 Mens, Womens, Mixed; Over 40, Over 45 & Over 50 Mens).
Secondary School Nationals are for senior teams. Teams must first place 1st or 2nd at their local 'zone' competition (ie North Harbour), then they go to the National qualifying regionals. Harbour teams belong to the Zone One region along with schools in the Northland and Waitakere Zones. The top three teams from each grade (Boys, Girls, Mixed) qualify to Nationals.
The Maori Touch NZ national tournament is designed to encourage growth and participation of iwi, hapu, waka and takiwa teams at a national level and is held in December each year.
The Touch New Zealand Junior National Championship in March each year, is the pinnacle of the season for the U15 & U17 age groups. For the players participating in the tournament is also an exciting time as it acts as a TID (talent identification process) for the Elite Youth Academy.
INTER PROVINCIAL SERIES (IPS)
The Junior IPS is held in Jan/Feb every year, and caters for Under 9 - Under 17 teams . The country is broken into regions for IPS - there is Northern IPS and Southern IPS. Harbour competes in the Northern IPS.

INTER-MODULE
Harbour currently run a Junior Inter-Module Tournament in November each year.
Junior teams are coordinated by your Module Manager. They can either enter whole teams from your Module, or can make up teams from players across all the teams.
Last year the grades were as below; this is currently under review for 2012.
Two sections in each grade: Year 1 & 2 - mixed, Year 3 & 4 - mixed / boys, Year 5 & 6 - mixed / boys, Year 7 & 8 - mixed / boys / girls, Year 9-10 & College Senior - mixed / boys / girls.
(Only 2 x reps allowed per team for Year 1-8).

OTHER TOURNAMENTS
There are various other Tournaments that teams from within Harbour compete in; dates noted in the below table.
The Junior Tri-Series is a representative tournament for our U9-U17 teams, competing against Auckland and Counties Manukau.
The top Secondary School teams from North Harbour, Waitakere and Northland compete in the Zone 1 Regionals to qualify for Nationals.
