Touch NZ has only confirmed the venue for the 2010 Touch Nationals. At the Touch NZ AGM in September we will be holding a workshop on the future of the National Tournament and seeking feedback from the Provincial Associations as to what they would like to see happen at this event.
Following this workshop, after assessment of its outcomes, we will be working towards securing
the venue(s) for the Touch Nationals for an extended period of time which will be announced at
the conclusion of the 2010 Nationals in Waitakere.
Selections for Touch Blacks and other age-grade teams
Touch New Zealand will be selecting the following teams at the 2010 Touch Nationals;
Touch Blacks (Mens, Womens & Mixed) – 30 man squads for the 2011 FIT Touch World Cup (June 2011, Scotland).
NZ Masters Teams – Squads for the 2011 FIT Touch World Cup. Exact grades that will be selected will be dependent on what grades will be offered at the 2011 FIT Touch World Cup (Touch NZ will make an announcement as soon as FIT have advised)
NZ Youth Teams – Youth Trans Tasman in Australia in 2011. Exact grades that will be selected will be dependent on what grades will be offered at the 2011 Youth Trans-Tasman (Touch NZ will make an announcement as soon as a decision is reached between Touch NZ and Touch Football Australia).
