Regarding the TNH Board and Junior, Senior and Referee Committees, please consider volunteering your time to help our organisation.
It’s always helpful to have more people for hands on tasks, but also gives you some input into decisions. Being on a Committee means coming up with and sharing ideas for the betterment and support of Modules; input into decisions regarding delivery of any events such as prizegivings, Inter-Module etc; and input into decisions regarding Representatives, such as trials format, appointment of coaches/managers, bookings for representative trips, dispute resolution, talent identification and academies.
Don’t wait for someone else to put their hand up; if you think you have some good ideas or opinions, or you just want to help somehow, we would really appreciate it – the more of you the better.

A reminder that the Touch NH Open Forum is on tomorrow night - Tuesday 24 April 2012, 6.30pm, Sports House in Albany.

Topics to be discussed are:
- Delivery of Junior Modules.
- TNH Affiliation Package for 2012-2013 season.
- Encouraging girls to play touch at Junior level. Can we introduce girls grades?
- Coaching and Refereeing courses in Schools.
- Rep Trials
- Utilize Youth/Senior and NZ players as role models/advisors for our Junior players.
- Earlier selection of Rep Coaches.

TNH OPEN FORUM

We’d like to invite and encourage you to attend the Open Forum being held Tuesday 24 April, 6.30pm, Sports House, Stadium Drive Albany.
The purpose of the Open Forum is to keep members informed of the Association’s activities, and gives members an opportunity to make recommendations and bring any matters to the attention of
the Board and/or Executive Committees before the AGM.
The Open Forum will give stakeholders and the TNH Board more opportunity to discuss ideas, get relevant information, read documents before the actual formality of voting at the AGM.

HARBOUR TEAMS QUALIFY FOR NZSS NATIONALS

Congratulations to the following North Harbour College teams who have qualified from the Zone 1 Playoffs, for the 2012 New Zealand Secondary Schools Touch Championships in December in Hamilton:
Boys - Orewa (1st), Westlake Boys (2nd)
Girls - Rangitoto (1st), Mahurangi (2nd)
Mixed - Mahurangi (1st), Kaipara (2nd)

The 3rd placed teams to qualify from Zone 1 are from the Waitakere competition.
